Academics and Extracurriculars

classes&extracurriculars
In order to keep things realistic, there are rules limiting the number of classes, extracurriculars, and positions of authority a student can have. These limits are maximums -- your character is welcome to be as unremarkable as you'd like. We are looking for students who run the gamut of academic prowess and extracurricular activity.
.limits

OWL students: 13 activities (classes + clubs + quidditch or authority + workstudy)

All OWL students are required to take core classes and free to take as many electives as they can feasibly handle. In game canon, there are no class conflicts, though there is a gender restriction for duelling (males only) and practical magic (girls only).

NEWT students: 9 activities (classes + clubs + quidditch or authority + workstudy)

All NEWT students are restricted to classes that their OWL scores permit them to be in. The minimum number of allowed classes is two and the maximum is six (in addition to duelling or practical magic, which have no OWL or NEWT).

Note that duelling and practical magic are mandatory classes for students of all years.

2 reserve members

.workstudy

The workstudy programme was designed to give students the chance to experience real world responsibilities at Hogwarts by aiding or accompanying school employees with their daily activities.
