camp.rules
All members of camp are expected to abide by camp rules, with additional rules for those under the age of 17 and additional responsibilities for those over the age of 25. Any and all transgressions are subject to punishment, which can range from extra cleaning duties to sacrificing rations to being dishonourably discharged from service.
The rule of thumb here is that Professors still entertain the same privileges as they did at Hogwarts; at no time should Professors' orders be ignored, and at no time should student-recruits make an attempt to order Professors around. Professors fall under the jurisdiction of military officers only.
These may be added to soon! Suggestions are welcome.
recruit (all ages).conduct
Recruits are expected to obey any and all orders given by military officers.
Recruits are to treat every other member of camp with respect and dignity.
Every week one member of each barrack will be assigned "monitor." The monitor's duties are to assure the barrack is kept neat, that fellow recruits are engaging in productive activities, and that curfews are respected. Monitors will receive extra rations each meal during the week of their assignment. Monitors failing to complete their duties will be replaced.
Recruits are to be in their barracks by 8pm and in bed by 10pm.
Recruits must follow their duty assignments without question or complaint.
Duelling practise is allowed at any time not otherwise occupied, but must not take place outside of training areas.
Fraternising of any sort between genders is not allowed. Males and females will not enter one another's dorms, nor will there be any non-combat related contact.
Brooms may be checked out from the staff for up to 40 minutes a day.
recruit (underage).conduct
Recruits under the age of 17 are expected to abide by extra rules intended to ensure safety and camp efficiency.
Any and all orders given by 'senior' recruits (those over the age of 25) are to be immediately followed without question.
Underage recruits are to be in bed at 9pm.
Progress reports will be collected every second week.
recruit ('senior').conduct
Recruits over the age of 25 are expected to carry out extra responsibilities in order to aid and protect younger members of camp.
Senior recruits are free to give assignments to recruits not otherwise occupied by productive duties. At no time, however, may a recruit be removed from officer-assigned duties.
dress.code
Recruits must be in (blue) uniform at all waking times.
Pyjamas may only be neutral colours (cream, beige, khaki, grey, black).
At no time may the colour red be worn.
Makeup and jewellery is expressly forbidden.
banned.items
Any and all items unnecessary to camp duties are forbidden with exceptions made for one (1) piece of reading material and family photos.
Personal animals are not allowed and will be humanely disposed of if discovered.
Persons discovered hoarding or stealing extra rations will be severely punished.
Due to the safety issues involved, owls to and from home will only be allowed twice monthly. These will be announced one day before to provide time for writing letters home.
typical.punishment
Minor infractions will result in additional cleaning duties.
Certain rations are a privilege and will be revoked in cases of poor behaviour.
Repeat offenders or those guilty of disrupting camp activities or putting others in danger will be relegated to the brig for periods of time to be determined by commanding officers.
Professors are free to give out minor punishments (cleaning, extra work) for minor infractions. Any incidents involving stronger consequences must be reported to an officer.
